The smallest and lightest PFD

The size and weight of your PFD play a major role when it comes to freedom of movement. The unique PFD from RESTUBE is therefore only about the size of a smartphone and 315 grams light. Maximum comfort, minimal restriction – for pure enjoyment on the water!

CE certified

The PFD is approved according to DIN EN ISO 12402-5 and DIN EN ISO 12402-6. You can wear it wherever a swimming aid of this standard is required by law, especially in the Lake Constance area and in Switzerland.

Square Buoyancy Aid

You release the PFD with a controlled pull on the trigger and the square buoyancy chamber inflates within seconds. This is connected directly to the belt, so all you have to do is pull the neck strap over your head. Now you're safe, ready to wait for help, carefree.

SUP safety leash on the belt

For added safety and comfort, you can attach your SUP safety leash to an extra loop on your belt. This gives you the freedom to quickly remove the leash from your body when the situation requires it - for your peace of mind in every moment.

Who is pfd by RESTUBE for?

The pfd by RESTUBE is a CE-certified 50N buoyancy aid and is therefore suitable for use wherever it is required (e.g. on Lake Constance or in Switzerland for stand-up paddling).

The pfd by RESTUBE is the smallest and lightest in its class, perfect for those who want full freedom of movement.

The pfd by RESTUBE is also recommended for stand-up paddlers as the leash can be attached directly and comfortably to the belt.

Is Restube a replacement for a life jacket?

No, it is not a substitute. Restube is the most versatile system for more safety in the water. Anyone who needs an approved swimming aid in vest form, for example for stand-up paddling in Switzerland, can use the pfd by RESTUBE. In any case, always follow the local rules and regulations. Safety concerns us all!

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Restube once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Restube manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Restube as a swimming buoy, or for snorkeling.
